1)
Can I order a chair with my college or school seal on it
through Traditionalchairs.com?
Maybe, it depends on the school.
First, call us at 513-870-0196 or email us at info@traditionalchairs.com
to see if we have the seal on file.
Second, we may need permission from the school to use
their licensed and registered trademark seal. The school may say
‘Yes’ (Cool!) or they may say that they only sell products with a
school logo through an ‘Authorized Vendor’ (typically the
school-owned bookstore or Alumni Asso.)
So, contact us and we’ll let you know if we can
sell you a chair, if we can’t, we’ll try to get you a contact name
and number at the bookstore/Alumni Association.
2)
What if my school bookstore does not sell the high quality,
handcrafted chair that I want, but they sell a
cheaper quality knock-off chair?
You should not have to stand for poor quality and a
high price. Contact us and we’ll most likely be able to sell you a
chair.
3)
Do you sell Nichols & Stone chairs?
Nichols & Stone was the
oldest furniture manufacturer in the USA. They started making chairs in
1762. Unfortunately, after 246 years of operation, they went out of
business on 6/27/08. We no longer sell Nichols & Stone chairs.
4) Who is IVY Technologies?
In our early inception,
Traditional Chairs sold a lot of chairs to the Ivy League schools. When
we had to come up with a corporate name we chose IVY Technologies, Inc. Scott Quinn, President of Traditionalchairs.com is
a Director of the IVY
Technologies, Inc. corporation. It’s easier to think of a business
that sells traditional wood chairs with the name ‘Traditional
Chairs’ rather then ‘Ivytech’.
Note: If paying by credit card, the name Ivy
Technologies or Traditional Chairs.com along with your purchase amount will appear on your statement. If
you have any questions, please call us at 513-870-0196.
5)
Can I get laser engraving on the black-lacquered top panel?
No. The laser burns
in the wood as black so you could never see it. The elegant laser
engraving can only go on the cherry-stained top panel. The gold silk
screen can go on everything, (but looks best on the black).
6)
Do I have to get a seal, logo, or personalization on my chair or
rocker?
Not at all.
The chair is a work-of-art just by itself.
7)
What form of payment do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express,
Discover and personal or company
check. Note: If paying by credit card, the name Ivy
Technologies or Traditional Chairs.com along with your purchase amount will appear on your statement. If
you have any questions, please call us at 513-870-0196.
8)
What is your return policy?
Since each chair is
handcrafted and custom-made to your specifications, we CANNOT ACCEPT A
RETURN. Once you buy it, it’s yours.
The
maunfacturer does have a limited 2-year warranty against a manufacturer’s defect
and damage in shipping,
but realistically the chair will last for generations and be passed down
through the family as an heirloom. I know you’ll be very pleased with
your purchase.
9)
How do I place an order?
You can place a
secured order
directly with us online,
call us at 513-870-0196, or email us at info@traditionalchairs.com.
Ordering takes 3 easy steps:
1) Pick out the correct model # of the chair.
2) Decide on any personalization you may want.
3) Call us at 513-870-0196 with your Credit Card information to place your
order, or mail your check
to:
Scott Quinn, President
Traditional Chairs.com
7545 Foxchase Dr.
West Chester, OH 45069-8686
Your order will be processed upon receipt of payment. Hurry!
Since each piece is made by hand, delivery on chairs and rockers can take up to 4-6 weeks.
10)
What if I need my chair quicker then 4-6 weeks?
We can do a rush delivery for an
additional fee (up to $50). The faster we have to make it, the more
expensive the rush fee. Call us at 513-870-0196 for exact pricing.
Another option: I can mail out a nice brochure and personalized
presentation letter explaining that the manufacturing process does take
time, but it is definitely worth the wait, etc. We will ship the chair
directly to the recipient's home, office, etc.
